I dread the day when bahco cease to manufacture this excellent pruning saw. I have owned many over the years that i've been working as a landscape gardener.
-the blade is sharp and durable and cuts easily through small branches but with patience also cuts quite thick branches.
-the shaped heel on the handle helps grip and control on the pull cutting action.
-the handle is hollow and can be attached to a wide variety of poles with a simple locking screw..I have even attached it occasionally to a handy broom stick to reach higher branches -no need for compatible extension poles.
-when cutting using an extension pole the curved shape of the blade helps keep the saw aligned and hooked in for a neat cut.
be careful not to lose the blade cover which is a bit skimpy as the blade is very sharp..

We like these as they can be used with or without a pole so giving flexibility. They seem to last reasonably well . We would prefer a more secure means of fixing them to poles and selling an inexpensive hardwood pole to go with them would be good please.
