The kindest way to describe this saw is as a hobby saw, it can manage to cut logs about 3 inch fairly comfortably, but over that and it struggles, or just stops . Even with the lithium batteries fully charged it is still woefully under powered. I used a makita battery powered chain saw of a similar size and there really is no comparison . The best thing going for the saw is its weight, it is easy enough to use because it is so light, but the batteries could do with being bigger as it just doesn't last enough. I have a spare battery and if i am sawing continuously a battery will be flat in around ten to fifteen minutes, hence the need for a second. Overall i would not recommend this saw and would advise to go for a dearer saw. You do get what you pay for and the quality just isn't here.
