Just used it first time out of the box, easy to assemble, feels good in the hands, nicely balanced. Battery still had power after approx. 30 mins., cut through tall grass (in stages) with no effort, even took care of bramble. Time will tell on durability but seems well designed and constructed. Decent value for money - from Tooled-Up.

A real beast of a strimmer. Not the easiest strimmer to manicure the lawn edge. But great for clearing overgrown stuff.

Very powerful trimmer. Works out cheaper as I already had a battery. But price is best seen for this product. Delivery options good being able to select delivery day. Will certainly buy tools again Tooled-Up as they seem to be reliable

Good product as you would expect from Bosch. Bought cordless strimmer without battery as I have previously bought a Rotak mower with two 36v batteries. Very happy with product, cuts well and not very noisy when compared with our older petrol strimmer. Cost is high when compared with corded models but worth it gets the job done quickly and flexibly.

I have several Bosch cordless machines and they are all very good value - especially as I invested in a second battery to save waiting time for the recharge. This trimmer does a good job, is not too noisy compared with my neighbour's petrol machine, and is easy to use - no cord pulling thank goodness. Only four stars for features as I do find it quite heavy to manoeuvre as I am not very tall!

Great product. Expensive compared to other strimmers but nice quality and uses the same batteries as the Bosch hedge trimmer bought from Tooled-up last year - so very convenient.

Be careful if intending to use existing batteries with this device; older batteries don't fit properly due to poor manufacture /design. Bosch customer support no use whatsoever.

Great product, great service. Arrived the next day. Easy to assemble, though people have mentioned the difficulty fitting the handle. If it's all lined up properly the handle fits easily. only thing that would have improved it would have been a shoulder strap. I find the weight fine but the wife wanted a strap.

Well built but we struggled to put the handle on as it was almost impossible to open the handle wide enough to fit on the shaft. It took a lot of tools and effort but now it is on it is perfect. Otherwise it seems a study piece of kit and my husband was pleased with his birthday gift.

Good - seems as powerful as a mains strimmer without the hassle of the power cord, and much quieter and cleaner than a petrol machine. Quite lightweight. A useful and convenient tool. bad - the head shroud seems flimsy - only time will tell if that is a problem. Fitting the handle was a struggle - needed brute force to open it enough to fit on the bracket.

This certainly does the job. it was longer than i thought as i had hoped that the tube was telescopic. this is not the case as only the 'loop' handle can be moved up and down to suit. it is brilliant at cutting tough grass and weeds. only time will tell how long it will last.

Easily assembled and, for a battery powered chainsaw it tackled 4" timber surprisingly well. Good value for money if you have the battery and charger for a hedge trimmer or strimmer.

A : I can confirm that this grass trimmer takes a Bosch 36v DIY battery and unfortunately will not take a 36v professional battery.
Q : Is this tool compatible with a battery made in 2012-13.
A : I can confirm that as per the user manual this item is compatible with the following batteries: F 016 800 302 (1,3 Ah) , F 016 800 474 (2,0 Ah), F 016 800 301 (2,6 Ah) and F 016 800 346 (4,0 Ah)
Q : Is the 36v 1.3 Ah Li ion battery for the Bosch AHS 54-20 hedgetrimmer compatible with the Bosch Art 30-36 grass trimmer ?
