A brilliant buy! This is great to paint walls with though it takes a little practice. Paint needs thinning down to go through it and it uses a litre in about 3 minutes! But it gets the paint on!

Very easy for me to use as i have problems with both hands. if i sprayed too much in one spot just used a small roller to even it out. very impressed. Just bought a very old property. Will be extremely useful to me.

I bought the bosch spray-gun to paint some very ornate plaster cornice some 11' high in my old, built in 1874, edinburgh flat. This previously had taken me 8 hours to paint by hand. 30 minutes to aply the first coat, 20 minutes to apply the second!A bigger paint container and it would have been even quicker. Great finish. Gun very easy to operate and clean.

A powerful product and quality is assured with the bosch brand. worth the slight extra investment over the cheaper products. does the job efficiently but could do with a slightly bigger paint holder as it runs out quickly. on the whole, a good buy.

Got the hang of spraying pretty quickly, practiced on the old garage door and I took time getting the paint consistency just right before I started on the room.. I was painting a LARGE freshly plastered room. Spraying the ceiling was a challenge. As soon as paint levels dropped a little (about 15 seconds of spraying)in the reservoir, the spray became intermittent due to the angle I had to hold the unit. Spraying the ceiling keeping the unit as upright as possible helped but it wasn't particularly great. I ended up doing the 2 mist coats by sprayer followed by 2 coats using a roller on the ceiling to get a better finish/coverage.. Walls were easier. The biggest downside was the reservoir lasts about 30 ish seconds..........The constant refilling was just dreadful. It was actually quicker overall to use a roller! So yes, it works. Not ideal for ceilings, better on walls but the constant refilling makes it a NO for me. Wish I'd saved the £90 and stuck with a roller!!!

Don't waste your money, bought this to paint new rear extension after reading the 'great' reviews. Really disappointed, you spend more time filling the paint container than you do spraying. It didn't seem to matter what setting the sprayer was put on, it delivered the same amount of paint. Wasn't bothered by the noise, but the mess was another issue. Went back to using the good old roller which has better coverage, is more controllable and just as quick!!!!

Q : Hi would this be a suitable spray gun for painting UPVC Windows with dulux weather shield paint also would the paint require to be thinned down.
A : Hi Neil, although some of the reviews seem to suggest that people have used the PFS 3000 for spraying masonry paint the manual states that "The power tool is not suitable for spraying caustic solutions, acidic coating materials and house paints" - by which I assume they mean it is not intended for exterior or masonry paint and it wouldn't be recommended for Dulux Weathershield.
Q : Where can I get this in Kenya Mombasa...how much Kenyan money?
A : Hi Pascal, I'm afraid I have no information on that and you'd probably have to try and source the nearest Bosch dealer or contact Bosch themselves to see if they can advise of a local stockist
Q : Hi i live in Spain , can you tell me if i can spray any emulsion as long as it is watered down by 10 per cent for example any satin emulsion ? what would you suggest i have the Bosch 3000 brand new Thanks
A : Hi Michael, I'm afraid I'm not sure what brands of emulsion paint are typically available in Spain but you shouldn't have any problems with any type of emulsion really as long as you get the viscosity right before spraying. The manual provides some guidelines, which I'm guessing you have to hand if you have just bought it brand new, but is also available for download on our product page for reference if needed.

A : Hi Liz, the PFS 3000-2 is only intended for spraying emulsion and latex paints, solvent-based and water-dilutable lacquers, glazes, primers, clear lacquers, wood stains and oils. It is not designed for applying exterior house paints
Q : Can I use bosch pfs 3000-2 to spray body panel of a car? Also, can enamel paint be used with this specific model?
A : Hi Henk, this power tool is only intended for spraying emulsion and latex paints, solvent-based and water-dilutable lacquers, glazes, primers, clear lacquers, wood stains and oils. It would not be recommended for painting car body panels.

This product carries a full 3 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables.
