Q : In very simple terms could you enlighten me about this pump. I have a very large, unwieldy garden set in farmland, there is no electric supply, watering is very heavy going, there is a veg garden A fruit garden and other gardens, trees hedges grass etc. Can this pump be used for watering, how is it attached to a supply, I,e. Water butt, from a tap or large container...and how is it attached to a hose for watering?
A : This pump has a 3" diameter input and output and due to this would not be suitable to connect to a standard hose pipe as reducing the output diameter would cause a backflow of water into the pump which would damage the pump. Based on this it may be more suitable to use a 2kw petrol generator and a Karcher GP 50 MC Surface Water Pump with Garden Hose & Water Spray Gun Kit.
