Very prompt delivery, easy to assemble,record could have done better to have 2 rests included to prevent dismantling disc rest to convert to upright. Powerful motor need to practice now.

Bit of a 'faff' changing the disc as you have to dismantle the table. Although it does not affect performance, i am disappointed in the finish of the main casting which is not very smooth and not painted in the green livery of record - which all my other record products are. However very good sander.

The power bench@disc sander is an assert to any workshop the use of the belt in vertical position does not inspire me greatly but i suppose i will get used to it .

So far the sander has performed well and as expected. it needs to be used with an extraction system to prevent clogging. otherwise you have to periodically stop the machine and clear the debris. mind you i was using it to sand off tile cement so that i could re use the tiles. heavy use but it performed the task well. reccomended.

I purchased the bds150 and after 2 months the timing belt went on it. only place i can find a replacement is from record power themselves and they want to charge practically £15.00 to replace a small rubber band and also £5.83 for postage. a rip off, will not be buying any more record power devices
