A substantial and well built product Easily fixed cladding into 50mm upright using 59mm stainless nails It is very important to test on some scrap timber to adjust the depth before using on final fix. The whole 50mm will disappear with ease if you don't ! If you use the belt clip your trousers will be round your ankles !
More than impressed, amazing tool. Had a Makita gas nailer before which was hopeless. This is very well made and so far has worked perfectly.
Very pleased with this nail gun its great value for money it feels good and solid and so far has performed perfectly. For a tradesman that isn't using a nail gun all day everyday like myself I would say its perfect. Great fast turnaround from Tooled up.
Great piece of kit! Bought it for 1 particular job but got on so well with it I think it will become invaluable
Great nail gun for 2nd fix work. No gas needed so a lot cheaper to use. Build quality seems good so far. Only negative is I bought a 2ah battery which means its not big enough to stand it upright.
Another fantastic product from Ryobi, robust and powerful with long battery life. These Brad guns are the future !
Had never used a nailer before and wasn't confident about choosing the right type. With some assistance from Tooledup.com I now have the right nailer in this Ryobi product. Excellent product. Very helpful and informative staff. I would recommend this product to any one and will certainly be using Tooledup.com again

Customer Questions & Answers
Q : My nailer r18n16g has stopped working it won't put nails in wood it's as if there is no power to hit the nail in wood after 3 attempts the white light stated to flash I need to know who can look at it and repair it thanks
A : Hi Andrew, if you go onto the Ryobi UK website there is a section where you can find you nearest Ryobi (TTI) service centre by postcode. If the tool is within warranty they should be able to service it for you, and if not hopefully they will be able to advise further.
Q : Hi can I use 16g Brad nails instead of 16g finishing nails??
A : Hi Nabz, as long as they are both 16 gauge you'll probably find they are essentially the same thing. Technically, I think a brad nail is 18 gauge but people often just use this term for any small finishing nail. Just check the specifications to make sure they are compatible (straight, 19mm - 65mm length, etc)
Q : Are these ryobi nailers suitable for trade work
A : Hi Chris, the Ryobi ONE+ cordless range is only intended for DIY/domestic use and these tools are not covered by warranty if used in commercial working environments
Q : I need a nail gun that will allow me to build fencing and attach the featheredge boards. Is this nail gun suitable as I already have a lot of the Ryobi one range so was hoping to add to it. If so what nails would you suggest I buy with it?
A : Hi Andrew, both the Ryobi nail guns currently available on the ONE+ platform are second fix (finish) nailers and wouldn't typically be recommended for fencing applications. The 16 gauge nails they fire are quite delicate and are more suited to installing skirting boards etc inside the home, so not designed for structural work, and not generally intended to be exposed to wind and rain outside.
Q : Just trying to decide between this or the 18g brad nailer. Can you tell me, does this nailer take any 16g nails i.e. 16g finishing nails and 16g brad nails? In fact is there any difference between finishing nails and brad nails - I was thinking it was the size/shape of the head i.e brad nails leave a smaller hole than finishing nails, is that correct? Thanks!
A : The higher the number the thinner the nail is. For larger, more bulky wood trim, you will need to use a finish nailer as 16 gauge finish nails are slightly larger than a brad nail, giving them increased holding strength.
