I GOT MY BLACK AND DEKKER TRIMMER IN JUNE 2007 AND IS STILL GOING STRONG,I LOANED IT TO MY SON INLAW AND HE VERY STUPIDLY LEFT IT OUT IN THE RAIN.I WAS FLABAGASTED BUT I TOOK IT BACK AND LEFT IT TO DRY INSIDE, A WEEK LATER IT WAS BACK OUT IN MY GARDEN WORKING AS GOOD AS NEW I WAS SO PLEASED.IT CUTS VERY VERY WELL EVEN THICK TWIGS AND STRONG WEEDS I AM VERY HAPPY THAT I GOT THIS AND NOT ONLY IS IT LIGHTWEIGHT AS I HAVE BACK PROBLEMS IT TURNS FOR EDGEING AND HAS EXTRA STORAGE FOR BOTH LINE REEL AND LINE SO YOU CAN LOOSE THEM,HOW GOOD IS THAT IT'S THE BEST ONE IV'E HAD YET THANKS JOY.

Q : Do these fit the GL687? they look like they would. thanks
A : Hi Karen, as that is an older model I think Black & Decker have stopped supporting it, but it uses the same type of line so yes, these lines will be suitable for the GL687. Note that you may need a suitable spool cap though, depending on what is attached to the machine.
