Q : Does this fit ordinary garden hoses ? Thanks
A : I can confirm that this is suitable for a 3/4" or 1/2" threaded hose pipes. For a standard hose, you would need Item Id: 21016972 for 3/4" hose or Item Id: 21016969 for a 1/2" hose.
