It is a perfect waterpump. Robust built and very powerful
Something i hope that i never have to use.....Flood prevention purchase. good cost to throughput ration
I was amazed at the speed the pump cleared a substantial volume of water, setting the pump up was easy, instructions very clear. a small problem i had was i let it run dry and the overload clicked in. i was impatient to get it going again,if i had been just a little more patient it would have been fine. sevice from tooled up was as usual very good and i'm very happy with the pump.
Only had it for a month. It is replacing a draper submerrsible that was in use for 5years on its float switch before failing. This is more robust in construction and has already moved a considerable amount of dirty water again working off its float switch. If it does as well as the one it replaces i will be pleased. Tooled up did what they said on their web site as usual. Used them several times now with no problems. Keep it up guys.
Great price very happy
Seems like a well built pump, but i have only used it a couple of times. it easily pumped water through 50 m of lie flat hose up a 3 metre height gain.
For use in my muddy pond. Over the years i have had 5. This model is the best on the market in my opinion but they still only last 12-20 months before stopping/breaking without reason.
We share a large pond (40mx50m) with four other properties and the outlet to the main sewer was blocked and we needed to reduce the level by ,5m following the heavy rain in december. With a 1m head and 25m of hose we have pumped out around half a million litres of water running continuously for three days from 0730 to 2300. The pump has been suspended from a boat and remained submerged throughout. It just keeps humming away and seems to be man enough for the job. A bit fiddly at first activating it with the float switch but a robust pump which i would recommend to others.
Good pump but im not getting the full flow rate as i'm pumping up a 5 m head along a 40 m lay flat hose
Was pleasantly surprised at the speed of this pump at emptying the waste water tank.Just like an ad. For another product it does exactly what it says on the can (and more )many thanks. Tony.
Many applications on from when i purchased this fabulous pump it is still performing brilliantly. when the small pond [which takes a minimum of 3 hours to fill] is not too clogged up with leaves/cherries/apples it only takes a quarter hour to empty! i thoroughly recommend it, helene towers.
We have now emptied two very dirty ponds [it's the ducks making the mess!] and were amazed at the power and performance of this pump, i cannot praise it highly enough. when at one stage the emptying stopped even though the pump was going we found a stone wedged just inside the hose, it was 5cm x 3½cm, can you believe it - we couldn't! i'm very happy with my purchase, also the 25 m flat hose; only wish i'd bought 30 m to reach the drainage ditch! best regards, g helene towers.
I needed to clear an area of flooded ground. i estimated there was about 150,000 litres of clean water, with more to drain in if it were cleared. i dug a pit in the centre of the flooded ground and dropped the pump into it. The pump was outputting through 100metres of 38mm hose, which i expected to halve the rated output of the pump. the "pond" was cleared in 2 x 4hour sessions, and has since been kept dry by the pump. I am pleased with the performance. too early to tell on build quakity.
