Bought the Fiskars hand shears to replace some I'd had for many years. I'm sure these will last as long. Very good service from Tooled-Up. Ordered Sat evening, arrived Tues morning.

Delighted with this tool, as I’m left handed I find I haven’t the necessary strength to use a conventional right handed version. Great quality and worth the price to have the correct tool to meet my needs.

Sharp and versatile. Good length of blades and very sharp. Also adjustable. The 360 degree turn feature of the blades means you can cut grass at any angle. Light weight and good handles making for easy function. Would recommend and please with Tooled-up service because I don't like buying from Amazon.

This is a great product from the Finnish masters of cutting tools. The rotating blade options makes switching horizontal to vertical cutting easy. The only reason they did not get five stars is you cannot get spare parts. The blade failed after 10 years use but Fiskars were not able to supply a new one despite it being easy to replace. Not as green as it should be these days of repair, recycle reuse.

After four years of regular use I lost my first pair of grass shears in a garden waste bin, hope someone rescued them before being ground up. Easy to handle for someone with arthritic hands, easy to clean, sometimes the blades bind a little in hot weather after heavy use, but by far the best hand shears I have used. Price for my new pair has barely increased!

Q : Can these shears be used for trimming and shaping bushes and shrubs?
A : I'm sure they would be OK for very light trimming but bear in mind they won't have a huge amount of cutting power to get through woodier material - depending on what you're cutting you may also get good results with precision hedge shears like the Gardena PRECISIONCUT shears on product ID 21031171, or purpose built topiary shears like the Spear & Jackson ones on product ID 21004619
