Q : Hi, I am looking at buying one of these HDS 6/12 pressure washers but on the Karcher website they list the Max Temp as 80-155 deg C where as you list it as 80 deg C and other websites list it as 155 deg C but they all appear to have the same part no. 1.169-904.0. So my question is, is there different variants of this model with the same part no. with different max temps or do they all actually have a max temp of 155 Deg C.
A : I can confirm that this machine has a max feed temperature of 30C. in eco mode, the max output temprature will be 60C The maximum operating temperature in hot water mode is 98C With the temperature in steam mode reaching a maximum of 155C
Q : I have a HDS 6/12C washer and my son wants a foam nozzle to fit . What is the difference using a foam nozzle to using the normal lance and the standard chemical feed . If the foam nozzle is an advantage over the standard lance , please advise which one i need to buy to fit my machine
A : The Kärcher Pressure Washer Spray Foam Nozzle is designed to generate a low-pressure powerful foam for effortless cleaning on all types of surfaces compared to a normal nozzle the foam nozzle increases the amount of air in the detergent mixture creating a foam rather than mixing detergent in with the water. If you have Easy!Lock machine then you will need Item ID 21023650 if you have the older non Easy!Lock machine then you will need Item IDd: 20998468

This product carries a full 1 year commercial manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables. High pressure hoses are covered only for 3 months and are easy damaged by being trodden on or driven over. In the unlikely event of a fault the item returned is subject to fair wear & tear and must not have been used beyond the scope of it's design.
A Karcher service technician will attend all instances of faulty machines and repair/exchange products with faults due to faulty materials or workmanship. Faults due to incorrect operation, wear & tear etc are chargeable. A credit card no is required for technician callout to cover charges not related to warranty faults.
