A powerful machine,cuts rough grass,docs and nettles with ease.Simple to use and transport in the boot of my car. I used it for two hours to clear an over grown paddock and I had to replace the two chords twice, I am pleased with the machine so far. No instructions given on where to purchase spare chord, I bought some 4mm diameter off the internet that worked well.

Just wades through 5ft high nettles like a hot knife through butter! simple, lightweight and easy to start. a great tool.

Magnificent! it's light, powerful and easily handled. it just walked through a large area of 4ft high nettles on a 1 in 3 hillside with no trouble at all. you do need plenty of cutting line when tackling tough stuff like that and it uses quite a lot of fuel. otherwise a great bit of kit.

I boughtthis for my 80+ year old father to cut the grass in his orchard. he is thrilled with it and it has transformed the care of his garden. it is easy to use and very efficient, he says.

When i paid a substantial delivery price i thought it would be delivered to my door - no chance! I had to struggle up my drive with the package. The line supplied is rubbish. I bought nylshaw 'sharp line' and although expensive it does last and even around fence posts and concrete. I have given the machine a good trial and while others have commented on its ability to lay nettles what it does not like is grass. I bought it to lay a paddock and all it did was ride up on the grass. It will, with the right line, smash through brambles and docks but it takes the strength of hercules to pull the machine back as there is a flap at the back that serves no useful purpose, except to exhaust the user. Power is adequate. Whatever you do wear goggles when using, even if you have glasses with safety glass, and ensure your arms are covered. always like briggs & stratton motors [18 year old mower and tractor still going strong] and mcculloch tools.
