Bought the record to replace a very old clarke model of the same capacity. nicely made, quiet in running and ideal for using on the metal working bench away from the woodwork bench. have only used it a couple of times so far, and am pleased with the purchase. thoroughly recommended, especially for the hobbyist and small workshop.

We've had this now for around 5 months and it's performance is very, very good. the build is also very good and it has proven to be very reliable. would most certainly highly recommend this bench pillar drill, especially at this price.

A first class product and well made. Does everything we wanted from it - drilling and milling. probably not suitable for for a very heavy workload, it's proved a great workhorse for us. very good for machining specialist jigs, saving us many pounds, thus already paid for itself. very good value for money.
