I needed a reasonably priced hammer drill, this looked good, used it a few times since it arrived, seems good for the money. If you need a drill for diy or occasional use this one is for you.

Customer Questions & Answers

Paul Cosh asked on 15/05/2020

Q : Is the drill in hammer mode when the hammer symbol is covered by the switch or visible ?

TooledUp answered on 15/05/2020

A : The RPD800 is in hammer mode when the hammer icon is visible (switch moved to the left) - note that this may not appear to make any difference until you actually start drilling into something and you should feel the hammer action kicking in

John asked on 22/04/2020

Q : What is the output?

TooledUp answered on 22/04/2020

A : This is not specified I'm afraid- the only figure quoted is 800 watts

Gary Mason asked on 22/02/2019

Q : On this model you have the option of using chisels. What size chisels can be used ? Smallest to largest and are they available ? Im looking into if possible to use this drill for experimenting with stonework and masonry designs.

TooledUp answered on 22/02/2019

A : I can confirm that this does not have a chisel function and you would need to look at a demolition hammer for prolonged work or if it is just for a short 5 - 10 min sessions then you would need an SDS drill with a chisel function/
