I bought this as a replacement for a 180w device that could not maintain spindle speed when grinding small items like chisels. No stopping this one! It does have a very slight imbalance but great value overall.

Well worth making space for a larger disc & engine. Runs quietly & with no hint of wobble. No trouble with larger items like axe head or with tempered steel. Very pleased.

Q : Just bought a new one of these and when you turn it on and it’s up to full speed there’s like a rumble off it , I thought there was something stuck in the guard but that’s not it, any suggestions, thanks
A : Hi John, I suppose it could be an imbalance issue (something highlighted in a previous review) but it's probably worth getting it looked at under warranty while it's still new if there is no obvious reason for the noise
