I have had this case for some time and early on the feet fell off. However the rest of the case held up very well. I did manage to snap off one of the catches, no fault of the case, and i found that you could not buy a replacement from the suppliers (sealey). So be carefull or you will have to fix it with a dissimilar catch or catches. I would recommend this case to anyone (even if you do have to reattach the feet).
Very good at what it does.
Lovely cases, could of been doing with a extra pallet but for the money im happy so far
I don't think you can beat this for the money. But i probably wouldn't recommend it for everyday site work but good for home.
I've used this tool case every day in my work as an av engineer for over 6 months and i'm very happy with it for the price. From my research you would have to spend four times as much to get something better. i agree with other comments on the inserts but i have managed to get all my hand tools in there without trouble and i use zip up cases in the bottom of the unit to protect my test meters etc and this works fine. the case it pretty durable i throw it in and out of the back of the van daily and so far the only damage is a few scratches and one of the plastic feet came loose so i just tightened the screw. my case is the one with the clip on trolley base so it can be pulled along. The wheels are a little close together (making it easy to tip over) and the whole trolley assembly feels a little weak however it has put up with all my punishment so far. i keep my case very full and it weight a ton. The handle is showing no sign of breaking though.
Very good
Hopefully this box will prove to be stronger due to the way it is constructed, previous box was jointed at the corners which eventually came apart. The dividers supplied are not strong enough and give way with the weight of tools it contains.I use this on a daily basis for carrying general maintenance tools.Only time will tell
Could maybe do with an other insert and holders are too high to take some spanners as they catch on the rim when case has been closed makeing opening it hard.
Ok for what i paid. The tool insert in the lid is flimsier than expected and the pockets could be more flexible in design. The opposite side of the insert could also have had tool retainers to increase the quantity that could carried. The base area dividers are not strong enough to hold tools and components without everything ending in a heap when carried - maybe some foam inserts are needed. Ok for home tools but not adequate for professional use. Quality is ok for the money but a stronger design would be needed for hard use. I rate this as a 3-4 star buy.
Good features and durable build. I use it for my electicians test instruments. Just how this case will cope with regular use on the building site only time will tell.
the deviders could be a bit more secure managed to pick it up half price so really happy with cost not so sure if i had to had pay full price, locks could be a bit stronger but no complaints.
This is a really lovely case but I had one major problem with the lower tool baseboard. The little flap that holds the baseboard down broke off( the rivet gave way). I have since fixed the flap using a screw and bolt. The case has plenty of useable space and is a good size.
Great Tool Box. Sturdy. Holds tools well, with plenty of compartments and elasticated hooks. Only criticism would be the movable dividers in the bottom tray - they could do with being a bit sturdier, but if the case is full, they won't move around too much! Looks smart, comfortable carrying handle.
Read the reviews and decided to buy it as a secondary box. It is at best for the diy man. It is built well for the price but not very usefull.
After three weeks of use the one of the stays broke, and the hinge on the lid is starting to split, I think another two weeks use it will break. I am a heating engineer and to be fair the use it gets is on the heavy side the box is opened and closed between 12 - 20 times a day 7 days a week, The case looks good and compartments can be adjusted to what you want. but for my use it is not strong enough.
