Q : Will the brick disc that is supplied rake out mortar. If not which disc do I need given the maximum thickness is 6 mm for the blade for this grinder. Thank you
A : Hi Lisa, I'm not sure where you're seeing that it will only take discs up to 6mm? Reason I ask is that some of the supplied discs appear to be thicker than that, unless Black & Decker have used the wrong image. Anyway, to ensure maximum efficiency and safety I'd always try and use a dedicated tool for the job where possible - for example the Dronco mortar raking disc we stock on product ID 20994125 is specifically designed for this application (and is 6mm)
Q : Which blade would be required for concrete slab cutting
A : Hi John, if you go to the cutting discs category on our website you can filter by disc diameter and material to see all the blades which would be suitable for cutting concrete with this machine - for example Product ID 21013038 will do the job (just select the 115mm option from the green drop down menu)
Q : Please could you recommend the right cutting disc to use on wood as I am interested in purchasing this product but would also like a disc for wood.
A : Bosch make a carbide cutting disc which is suitable for wood - it's on our site under product code 21022756. You would just need to choose the 115mm version for use with this grinder
