Fitted with a 550W motor & a wide 30cm cutting width, the ST5530 from Black & Decker also features a variety of innovative design enhancements, for powerful, cost effective trimming performance. Particularly advantageous is the inclusion of Black & Decker's E-drive technology, which improves belt drive efficiency for constant power delivery even under heavy workloads. E-Drive machines also produce less noise during operation, for a more pleasant user experience. Users have the option to use the trimmer in horizontal mode for ordinary trimming, & also in vertical mode, for edging along lawn borders. Operated vertically, the ST5530's innovative Wheel Edge Guide helps to achieve exact, professional looking lawn borders - simply run the wheel along the verge, & the trimmer does the rest.
