The EasyImpact 12 is a cordless combi drill which uses the Bosch PowerForAll 12v lithium ion battery platform for compatibility with a range of other Bosch garden and power tools. A two speed machine with a 20 position clutch, the Easyimpact 12 is ideal for drilling and screwdriving in tight spaces or overhead thanks to its compact, lightweight form factor. It has a hammer mode which enables it to be used with masonry bits of up to 6mm in diameter, and it is suitable for drilling holes of up to 20mm in wood. Changing bits is a quick and easy process thanks to the Bosch keyless Auto-lock chuck, and a handy Forward/ Reverse indicator on the top of the machine lets the operator know which mode the drill is set to at all times - a feature which will appeal to anyone who has struggled trying to screw in a fastener with a machine set on reverse! An additional indicator serves to warn the operator when the battery is running low, and an integrated LED worklight above the trigger helps to illuminate dark and recessed workspaces.
