## Description

The Bosch GEX 185-LI is an 18V cordless random orbit sander designed for professional finishing work on wood, plaster, and painted surfaces. Powered by a brushless motor, the GEX 185-LI delivers a consistent removal rate comparable to corded sanders, with a run time of up to 40 minutes when paired with a GBA 4Ah battery. The variable no-load speed of 6,000–10,000 rpm and an orbital stroke rate of 12,000–20,000 opm give the user precise control across a range of sanding tasks. The battery is ideally positioned to keep the tool well-balanced during use, reducing arm fatigue during extended sessions. Low vibration levels of up to 2.2 m/s² and an ergonomic design allow for comfortable one-handed operation, making it equally suited to overhead work and awkward angles. Compatible with all Bosch 18V batteries, the GEX 185-LI fits neatly into any existing Bosch cordless ecosystem. The 125mm hook-and-loop sanding pad accepts standard Bosch sanding discs, and the included dust bag helps keep the work area clean. It is well suited to sanding wood and wood-based materials, removing old paint and putty, and finishing new plaster.
