The Indego 1000 Connect adds wireless connectivity to the Bosch Indego range, allowing the user to manage their lawnmower via smart devices such as phones or tablets. Whether at home, work or even on holiday, GSM technology ensures you are connected to your robot assistant at any time of the day, while the Indego's intelligent navigation software, integrated lithium ion battery and docking station allow the machine to complete lawnmowing tasks autonomously and with maximum efficiency - while you get on with more important things! Once your machine is ready and the free app is installed you are able to manage your Indego Connect remotely. Set it mowing, return it to the docking station, set up cutting schedules and even view a map of your lawn showing the area cut so far. The app will also inform you if there is an issue that requires your attention or if your cutting blades need checking. Connection is free, with no costs to pay for data received sent by the mower, and no contracts to sign (note the Indego connect uses mobile phone networks to communicate so is not suitable for use in areas without reception). Mowing quickly and accurately requires a systematic approach. Indego uses the Bosch developed "Logicut" intelligent navigation system to mow your lawn in an efficient way by mapping and calculating every inch of your garden. No patch will be left uncut or mowed twice. As a result, Logicut is at least 3 times faster than its nearest competitor. By mowing systematically and in parallel lines, Indego Connect is not only highly accurate, it is also very energy efficient and fast - up to 30% faster than random navigation. Capable of mapping out even large gardens up to 1300m², the mower can navigate complex layouts and traverse slopes up to 35°. To keep it's onboard lithium ion power source topped up, the Indego Connect automatically returns to the docking station for recharging when necessary. It will also find it's way back to the docking station once an assigned task has been completed. Equipped with an array of sensors, the Indego ensures operational safety and self-preservation by avoiding unknown objects and automatically switching off the cutting action if lifted, tilted or rolled over. Triggering the Indego's motion sensors also results in the machine going into a secure sleep mode, whereby it is locked until the user's PIN code is entered. The Indego can also be disabled remotely at any time.
