Whether drilling, hammer drilling or chiselling, the PBH 2500 SRE is a compact but powerful tool which is designed to provide DIYers with an efficient way of tackling tougher jobs around the home. A high impact force is provided by 600 watts of power and a pneumatic Bosch hammer mechanism which delivers a single impact energy of 1.9 joules, enabling the operator to easily drill through hard materials like concrete or granite. The PBH 2500 SRE has more power and higher impact force than comparable tools from the Compact Generation series. As a result, drilling diameters of up to 22 millimetres in concrete are possible. The maximum drilling diameter is 30 millimetres in wood and 13 millimetres in steel. When used for chiselling, a vario lock system enables the accessory to be fixed in one of 36 different positions so that tools like flat chisels can be set at the optimum angle before commencing work. The PBH 2500 SRE has an SDS Plus tool holder which enables it to be used with SDS Plus drill bits and chisels as standard. For use with standard straight shank drill and screwdriver bits, it is also supplied with a keyed chuck adaptor. This makes it suitable for use with a wide variety of easily available accessories.
