High quality construction is supplemented by a variety of innovative design features, including the new Bosch PowerAutomatic feature, which automatically increases the sander's material removal rate when greater downward pressure is applied. This allows for intuitive adaptation to soft & rough surfaces, with no need to fiddle with settings. A pointed delta base plate is shaped to enable sanding even in tight corners & frame edges, & a two piece sanding plate lets you detach & rotate the delta tip so that it wears evenly, allowing you to use the same piece of sanding paper for longer. Changing sanding sheets is easy; a firm gripping Velcro-type fitting system means that sheets can simply be peeled off & replaced by hand. Moreover, versatile ergonomics enable one or two handed operation for optimal handling on differently shaped workpieces, & a vibration absorbing softgrip coating further improves user control. The PSM 10.8 LI's Dust extraction port can be used in conjunction with an external all purpose vacuum cleaner or dust extractor to keep your working environment free of dust build up.
