## Description

The Bosch PSR 18 LI-2 Ergonomic is a lightweight and compact cordless drill driver, designed for drilling and driving screws into wood and metal as well as other common materials like plastic. A version with hammer action for drilling into masonry is also available (the PSB 18 LI-2 Ergonomic). Equipped with a brushless motor for high efficiency in conjunction with 18v lithium ion batteries, the PSR 18 LI-2 Ergonomic has a number of features that set it apart from other contemporary drill drivers, most noticeably its compact dual handle form factor which enables the machine to be operated with either one hand, or while using the auxiliary handle for additional control. Similar to the design of most corded drills, the motor housing has a grooved recess above the trigger handle, enabling a comfortable, secure grip between the thumb and forefinger which is ideal for extended use. And thanks to an integrated Kickback Control system, the operator has additional protection against wrist strain in the event of a jam: the machine detects any sudden high torque reactions and shuts down the motor to ensure the user maintains control of the drill. Additional onboard electronics include Bosh Constant Electronic circuitry, ECP Electronic Cell Protection and a Syneon intelligent energy management chip. Bosch Constant Electronic technology helps to maintain the drill's speed while under load, ensuring consistent performance during drilling and driving tasks, while the ECP system protects batteries against the damaging effects of overload, overheating and deep discharge, helping to prolong their lifetime. The Syneon chip monitors and regulates the amount of energy supplied from the battery, making sure power is delivered when needed and conserved during lighter duty tasks; this keeps the machine performing at its best while avoiding unnecessary battery drain. An LED battery indicator on the tool enables quick verification of remaining charge in the battery at any time. As a testament to its ergonomic design, this machine has achieved an endorsement from the German Campaign for Healthy Backs organisation (AGR).
