Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.

Why didn't I have one earlier! I'm in the process of doing a house up and this is ideal, cuts the tongue and groove on floorboards and then across the board for easy access to electrics below. I needed to trim a metal conduit pipe, it got into the tight area without causing damage to anything else. Easy to swap the cutters, the tool is not heavy and the battery life is good.

A : Hi Richard, I believe the DCB187 is a standard 18v XR battery in 3.0ah? Assuming this is what you have, yes this multi tool will be compatible with those batteries and any other DeWalt 18v XR battery in fact
Q : Does this kit come with the accessory pack shown in the image? I know it's a bare tool but it doesn't mention the accessories shown.
A : Hi William, the bare tool is supplied as standard with 1 x Wood with Nails Blade, 1 x Fast Cut Wood Blade, 1 x Sanding Pad, 25 Sheets of Assorted Sandpaper and 1 x Universal Blade Adaptor
Q : Does the kit without batteries include the TStack case?
A : Hi, as stated in the description the bare tool is supplied WITHOUT Case, batteries or a charger
Q : Does this product include a battery? The picture suggests it does? Also, is a battery charger included? Cannot see a charger in picture? rgds

This product carries a full 3 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables.
