## Description

The DeWalt DCS525 18V XR Cordless Brushless Plunge Saw is a battery-powered track saw designed for precise, clean cuts in sheet materials and timber without the restriction of a mains cable. Powered by DeWalt's 18V XR lithium-ion platform, this plunge saw features a brushless motor for improved efficiency, longer runtime, and extended tool life compared to brushed alternatives. The cordless design makes it particularly well suited to site work, where access to mains power may be limited or impractical. Plunge saws are the preferred choice for carpenters, kitchen fitters, and joiners carrying out accurate straight cuts in worktops, panels, and engineered timber. Used in conjunction with a guide rail, this saw delivers the controlled, splinter-free results demanded in finish carpentry and cabinet installation work. As part of DeWalt's extensive XR 18V ecosystem, the DCS525 is compatible with existing DeWalt 18V batteries and chargers, making it a practical addition to any professional already invested in the platform. Features and Benefits: • Brushless motor for greater efficiency and longer tool life • 18V XR cordless platform — no mains power required on site • Compatible with DeWalt 18V XR batteries and chargers • Plunge-cut action for precise, controlled entry into workpieces • Ideal for carpenters, kitchen fitters, and site joiners Specifications Battery Voltage: 18v Battery Type: DeWalt XR Lithium ion Motor: Brushless Blade Diameter: 165mm Maximum Bevel Capacity: 47°
