Working in conjunction with the Bluetooth module fitted to the Festool dust extractor, the remote control allows you to start and stop extraction without leaving your work position. This is particularly useful during occasional cleaning tasks, where walking back to the extractor to switch between AUTO and MAN mode. The Bluetooth module on the extractor also communicates with Festool Bluetooth battery packs, meaning compatible cordless tools can trigger the dust extractor to start automatically when switched on.
