Q : What is the weight of these shears & would they be suitable for a pensioner with not terribly strong wrists?
A : Hi Rose, these shears are under 400g so I think you would be OK with the weight, although you may also be interested in the Fiskars Light series grass shears on product ID 21026903 which are only 250g! It's hard to say how much trouble you will have operating them but if you suspect you will get fatigued quickly bear in mind you can also get battery powered electric grass shears like the Gardena AccuCut LI on product ID 21024965, with which you just need to press a button. Q : Are these powered?
A : Hi Alistair, these grass shears are manually activated, like a pair of scissors (although via a trigger mechanism). We do stock battery powered grass shears, for example the Gardena ACCUCUT LI 3.6v Cordless Grass Shears on product code 21024965
Q : Hi could you please tell me how long the cutting blades are?
A : I can confirm that the cutting blade is 13 cm
