The splash-proof unit can be installed outdoors and connects to your existing above-ground or underground irrigation infrastructure. Once installed, control and scheduling is managed entirely through the free GARDENA smart App, available for iOS and Android devices. The included smart Sensor measures soil moisture and temperature directly at plant root level, whether in lawns, flowerbeds, or containers on terraces and balconies. This data is transmitted via the smart Gateway to your smartphone or tablet, enabling precise, demand-based watering that responds to actual soil conditions rather than fixed schedules.
