Irrigation Systems provide an extremely efficient way to keep your garden watered throughout the growing season. They consist of separate lengths of hose combined with accessories like drippers and sprinklers which are connected together and secured to the ground, whereby they will automatically deliver water to the required areas whenever water flows through the system. Many gardeners connect their irrigation system up to a water timer or water computer for timed watering periods which can be set to come on and off automatically at preset times; this provides you with an easy way to ensure your plants are watered first thing in the morning (the optimum time for watering) as well as during periods when you might be away from the home, such as during the summer holidays.
