The KHB 5 is much more powerful than a garden hose but operates at a lower pressure than most typical corded electric and petrol powered pressure washers, meaning it can be used for gentler applications like irrigating and misting plants as well as blasting away dirt and grime from vehicles or outdoor surfaces like patios and garden furniture. To enable the operator to switch between these different functions, the KHB 5 is supplied with a versatile choice of lances which can be easily swapped out due to a Quick Connect bayonet fitting. The dirt blaster lance provides maximum cleaning intensity in a powerful, rotating jet, while the Multi Jet lance has a variety of different spray patterns, including Point, Flat, Rinse, Mist and Irrigation Jet modes. Additional attachments will also be available separately in the near future, including a 90° angled spray nozzle and a patio cleaner. The KHB 5 can be connected to a garden hose from your outdoor tap but it is also designed to be used with freestanding water sources like tanks or buckets, meaning it is especially useful for areas without access to a mains power or water supply. To be used in this way, the KHB 5 has to be fitted with a suction hose (not included). The lithium ion battery used with the KHB 5 has a much more advanced charge level indicator than is normally found on power tool batteries -instead of the common three or four stage LED indicator, an LCD display gives a readout of the remaining charge as a percentage, which continuously updates as the tool is used. This helps to eliminate most of the guesswork before you start work and means it is easy to keep track of how much power you're using.
