When working at height, dropped tools and equipment can be a safety hazard as well as an inconvenience.
Lanyards enable tools and equipment to be tethered, either to the operator or to a secure mounting point like a ladder.
Lanyards are commonly connected to belts or wrist straps for convenience. As well as preventing falls when working in elevated positions,
lanyards are also ideal for preventing tool loss or foreign object damage when working around water or machinery.
