Equipped with a state of the art CREE Xtreme LED and an intelligent floating charge system, LED Lenser's prestigious M7RX is a compact rechargeable torch that has won no less than three design awards for it's precision engineering, versatility and powerful functionality. The variable focus M7RX uses a wide angle reflector lens to deliver an awesome light intensity of up to 600 lumens at a range of up to 235 metres. The inclusion of a CREE Xtreme LED chip has resulted in a completely new light cone characteristic and increased lighting performance over the previous model - the M7RX is capable of wide angle beams and delivers illumination not just to the focal point but also to the area beyond it, for an excellent depth and field of vision. Focusing is controlled by a one-handed sliding Speed Focus control which allows rapid transitions between flood and spot light applications and harnesses the patented LED Lenser Avanced Focus System optics for a superior concentration of light. Like all the torches in LED Lenser's M series, the M7RX is equipped with a microcontroller which monitors energy consumption and provides access to a range of Smart Light settings: 2 energy modes, 3 light programs and 8 light functions are available, enabling a diverse range of lighting modes for applications such as morse code signalling (including SOS preset) and personal defence. The energy modes enable the user to select either maximum light output or the ability to conserve battery power. On low settings, the M7RX has a runtime of up to 8.5 hours on a single battery charge. An onboard battery power indicator alerts the user to depleted power levels, while the floating charge system enables charging over USB without having to remove the battery from the M7RX's housing. This is not only convenient for the user but helps to avoid dust, dirt and other foreign bodies from entering the battery compartment and adversely affecting performance, while keeping contacts and components as free from wear and stress as possible. The compact form factor of the M7RX means it can be easily carried in a coat or jacket pocket, while the included lanyard and clip enable it to be worn around the neck or attached to a belt or rucksack for easy access. Rated to IPX4 for resistance against liquids and dust, the M7RX's sleek housing is furnished with a 3D grip patterned barrel for a secure hold. A comprehensive range of additional accessories are also available separately, including mounting brackets, pouches and holsters, along with signalling caps, anti-roll attachments and colour filter sets.
