## Description

Makita's CXT range expands the ever growing 10.8v power tool market with a selection of compact and lightweight machines which use a sliding lithium ion battery format. Utilising technology inherited from Makita's 18v range, these new batteries are equipped with overload protection circuitry and 4 stage LED fuel gauge indicators; fitted with multi-contact terminals to ensure stable connection even under extreme work vibration conditions, they are built for structural strength and durability and can be used in temperatures down to -20°C. For extended runtimes a 4ah version is also available separately. The DF031 is a 1/4" hex drive rotary drill driver which supplies up to 30Nm of torque and a maximum no load speed of 1700rpm. Equipped with two mechanical gears, a 19 position clutch and variable speed trigger, this 1.1kg tool is perfect for rapid screw driving and fastening jobs and will drill up to 10mm in steel or 21mm in wood, either using 1/4" hex shank bits, or cylinder shank drill bits if fitted with a suitable chuck adapter (not included). The small footprint of the DF031 makes it ideal for use in confined spaces or when working at height and it is further enhanced in compromised workspaces by the inclusion of an LED worklight and belt hook for optimum visibility inside dark nooks and crannies and hands-free portability when scaling ladders or carrying additional equipment. Designed to meet the demands of professional users, the DF031 has an ergonomic soft grip construction for maximum comfort in day to day use, and is supplied with a three year warranty.
