The Makita UC031G is a 40V XGT cordless top handle chainsaw with a 250mm (10") bar, designed for compact, lightweight cutting without a petrol engine. Powered by a 40Vmax XGT Li-Ion battery, it delivers cutting performance that Makita states is equal to or greater than that of a 27cc class engine chainsaw. The brushless motor and variable speed trigger let the operator adjust speed to suit the material or application. The compact body has an optimal centre of gravity to help reduce operator fatigue, while the rubberised front grip and handle add comfort. A large oil filling port with a view window makes it easy to check and top up bar oil. eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) is engineered for improved dust and water resistance, supporting operation in harsh conditions. This variation is supplied without batteries or charger.
