Great so far, very effective, and like the way the head and handle angles can be changed. Edges well, does not self feed line, but easy to do so. Overall, very happy with this strimmer.

I have yet not used the product but will do so when the weather gets better. I have given the item full marks for performance as all other measurments indicate that I will not be disappointed. Also the attention and professionalism of Tooled Up is excellent.

The item came with a problem in that the 90degrees handle button did not work! Returned and requested another to replace. In the event I was credited back with the cost and not another item. Contacted Tooled-Up and it was suggested that I place another order which I have done today. Have not used the item.

Q : Can not find a spool for RTL 1630 strimmer. Is there a compatible one I can use
A : Hi Alan, you can use the Ryobi RAC123 spools which we stock on product ID 21005089
Q : 1) Can you advise me on what size cutting line to use? 2) How do you spool the line exactly (double spool)?
A : I can confirm you would use an auto feed spool with dual 1.65mm cutting line
Q : The text and pictures say this is mains corded 240V. Why does the specification show 'Power 18v (18V) Battery'?
A : I can confirm that this is mains powered 240v with a 600w motor. I can see no mention in the specifications that this unit takes an 18v battery.
