Spirit Levels Information
Spirit levels provide a quick and easy way of checking for horizontal and vertical straightness during construction projects and they are an indispensable part of the professional builder's arsenal as well as a handy tool for DIY tasks around the home. They come in a variety of sizes, from single vial line levels and pocket sized torpedo levels to large models over three metres long. To minimize the effects of any inconsistencies in the material being checked, especially timber which may be warped or bowed, it is recommonded to use the largest level which will fit on the surface to maintain accuracy.
