Q : Would be suitable for coring into a cast iron stack in 22mm direct into the stack or 60mm into a boss fitting. Thanks. Brad
A : Hi Brad, these hole saws are suitable for cast iron pipes - but you'll want to remove the ejector spring if you don't want the slug to end up stuck inside it. Note this kit doesn't include a 60mm hole saw though
Q : Can the carbide tipped hole saw be used on tiles. Thanks
A : Hi Harry, these hole saws are optimised for metal and aren't recommended for tiles - Starrett actually make another design of TCT hole saw which is ideal for tiles - it's on our website under product code 21001563, but unfortunately we only have these in single sizes and it doesn't look like there are any sets available currently.
