Only just used the flymo vac and blower for the first time, it is a little bulky and would be to much for a woman to use even though it has a roller to help with movement,it does seems to do the job and being a vac it also picks up, my garden is narrow and long so i was pleased with the performance, but if you have a large garden i would say go for a better leaf blower only machine, i have spoken to a gardener and he tells me that the blowers only are more powerful and all you have to do is pick up the leaf, saying that it does the job for me..

A powerful machine, which makes short work of the wettest leaves and also has no trouble coping with twigs & beech-nuts.

I found this unit a little heavy and very noisy. I had to dismantle and clean out the fan housing and pipe 3 times in the first half hour as the fan over mulches and reduces the leaves to a paste! I complained to flymo (husqvarna) who were not interested. Eventually returned the unit for a refund and purchased a black & decker
