Q : Does this model have a twist head to do the edge of lawns?
A : Hi there, no the GL250 is a very basic model which is more or less a one-piece construction. If you go into the main grass trimmers category and tick the "Edging Function" box in the filters, you'll be able to see all the grass trimmers we stock that have this feature.
Q : can i fit a blade attachment to this instead of the string?
A : Hi Rose, no - you would need a much more substantial type of machine which is known as a brush cutter (we do stock those however, if you type "brush cutter" into the search bar you'll see them)
Q : Can you advise if the is a single or double feed strimmer
A : Hi Kenneth, the GL250 has a single line feed
Q : Do you sell the power cable for the gl250
A : We don't sell spare parts but if you go to the Black & Decker UK website they have a spares & repairs service where you will be able to make enquiries
Q : Can you deliver to Stockton-on-Tees and at what charge?
A : We can deliver all over the UK yes - if you go down to the "More Help" section at the bottom of the product page you can get a delivery quote by putting in the delivery postcode
Q : Does this strimmer have a guarantee? I’ve had strimmers before where the line constantly breaks. Is this bump line stronger? Many thanks
A : Hi Gillian, yes the strimmer itself has a guarantee, as will all other power tools on our site - you can find out how long this is for on any product by scrolling down to the "More Help" section right at the bottom of the page. Bump line isn't necessarily stronger than any other line - the name refers to the fact that you can feed it out by bumping the spool on the ground. If you think this will be a problem you might be interested in considering the GL9035 model which is supplied with heavy duty trimming line for extra durability (product ID 21003618)
Q : Where can I buy the spool safety cover for this model
A : Hi Julie, we can't supply spare parts but if you go to the Black & Decker UK website they have a Repairs & Spare Parts service so they may be able to order one for you, or advise where you can get a replacement
Q : Does this come with an electric cable if so how long is it?
A : It comes with a standard UK power cable yes. Black & Decker don't specify the length but its safe to assume you will need an extension lead on anything but very small gardens
Q : Does this strimmer come with the strimmer cord included or do you have to buy seperately
A : Hi Arlene, it comes with a spool and line yes. The spools shown in the "Accessories for This Product" are all suitable if you want to order spares and replacements.

This product carries a full 2 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables.
