Karcher K4.200 Compact Water Cooled Pressure Washer with Patio Cleaner 20 - 130 Bar 1900w 240vThe K 4.200 belongs to Kärcher’s new water-cooled Compact range. This new generation of pressure washer packs high-performance into a space-saving design. Compact dimensions allow for convenient transportation and storage; as well as making the machines more robust and durable. A key feature is the ability to operate in the upright or lay-flat position. The lay-flat position provides extra stability and avoids the possibility of accidently pulling the machine over with the hose. The new Compact range features Kärcher’s latest technology, including the Quick Connect hose system and our unique water-cooled motors. Water cooled motors provide high energy efficiency and longer machine life, and these products carry a 3 year warranty instead of 2. All Compact models are supplied with Dirtblaster lance and Vario-power lance. If you need a portable, yet highly powerful pressure washer, Kärcher’s Compact range is designed for you.Did you know a pressure washer uses over 80% less water than a garden hose? This means you can reduce water consumption with a Kärcher pressure washer.Features & Benefits:• Compact, robust and powerful• Water Cooled Motor for enhanced performance and longer life• Quick Connect release on both ends of the high-pressure hose to easily fit onto the new style trigger gun and unit• Lance and trigger storage facility for compact storage and ease of use• Fully mobile and twin carrier handles for easy transportation• Aluminium telescopic handle for easy transportation and space-saving storageSpecifications:Max pressure: 130 barMotor: 1900 Watts (water-cooled)Water flow rate: 440 l/hHose length: 6mUnit weight: 13.2 kgIncludes:Vario lanceDirtblasterT250 Patio CleanerDetergent suction hosePressure WashersTo help determine the type of pressure washer required it is important to consider the size of your cleaning task and level of duty, i.e. how big is the cleaning object and how often will you need to clean it? Below is an explanation of the two main types of pressure washer. Whilst bar pressure is important the overiding factor in cleaning power is the water flow rate. More water = better cleaning.Home & Garden (sometimes referred to as domestic, DIY or consumer).Lightweight, easily portable and designed for regular use in a domestic environment, these machines range in power to suit the size of your cleaning task. Models featuring ‘water cooled motor’ technology offer greater performance, and top of the range machines are often fully loaded with accessories. Xpert or Professional (sometimes referred to as commercial or industrial)Heavy duty, robust and designed for maximum durability, Xpert or Professional machines have higher pressure and flow ratings, enabling you to clean with far greater speed and efficiency. These machines are not readily available on the high street or in DIY superstores and often feature upgraded components throughoutJargon Buster:• Bar or PSI: Bar is the most common measure of pressure. PSI = bar x 14.5.• Bar (max): This is the pressure achieved when the machine is first turned on• Bar (rated) pressure: This is the operating water pressure of the machine.• Motor size (kW): Motor size indicates power providing the machine runs efficiently. • Flow Rate (l/h): Higher flow rates enable you to clean large areas or objects fasterDid You Know:Pressure Washers use up to 80% less water than garden hosepipes.Pressure Washers are not subject to hosepipe bans if used for safety reasons, or if a suction hose is used to pull water from a harvested source. i.e. not the water mains. They are also not subject to a ban if used for commercial reasons, for example to maintain cleanliness, hygiene or company image.Important things to remember when using your pressure washer:• Always use an RCD when using electrical products in connection with water.• Never use a non-return valve at the pressure washer connection to a hose pipe.• Never drive over or lay items on high pressure hoses to avoid damage.• Your water supply hose should be a min of several meters long and unwound from its reel.• If you are using an extension lead, check that it is rated at min of 13 amps and fully unwound from its reel.

I previously owned a b@q own brand power washer which i'm afraid didn't come up to my expectations. the karcher, on the other hand, appears to do a much better, more thorough job with less effort. really good results are achieved in a fraction of the time that my previous power washer took. the patio cleaner attachment is very good indeed where the equivalent attachment to my previous washer really didn't work at all. the karcher appears to be very well made and i look forward to may years of reliable service.

The k4.200 pressure washer works well but one first connection i discovered that one of the pressure nozzles in the t250 patio cleaner was faulty (fractured sleeve)and blew straight off. still waiting for the replacement nozzle from karcher home and garden 2 weeks later.
