The Bosch Telescopic handle was exactly what I was looking for in order to extend my shrub and grass shears. I am an older gardener and find hedge trimmers heavy. This implement helps to reach the places I can't, its light and very easy to handle. Ideal for keeping shrubs looking tidy.

As a hand tool it is brilliant to use, but I choose to buy the handle to save myself having to bend down when using the product. The handle fits on in seconds, I managed to do my garden within 8 minutes. It is really easy and simple to use and absolutely worth the money. It will cut up to 10 inches high on the edging and it does it super quick!

Just fantastic tool my wife finds it brilliant to use unfortunately i am disabled in a wheelchair . My wife is 76 and looks after the garden so any tools that makes easier is a blessing.

This item is a must to go with the bosch isio trimmer. it clicks on easily it's wheels make it easy to edge the grass and no bending is a must for people like me with back trouble

Q : I tell you want would really helpful that is to quote the manufacturers reference in your description rather than your catalogue no which is does not help anyone and stop quoting mk3 Isio as there is nothing on the device or manual that says it is a mk3 I my Isio handbook says the handle should be F 016 800 329 Bosch code which it looks like this one is. Believe me I know this is confusing having just bought the wrong one at the same time as the Isio from another retailer therefore assumed it was correct.
A : Hi Tim, yes I can confirm the Bosch reference for this handle is F016800329. With regards to our catalogue number, if you type this into the search bar on our site you will be able to see what the IXO mk3 looks like, which hopefully enables people to check if they have the same machine. The MK 1 and 2 looked slightly different and it's fairly easy to tell them apart if you look closely. If we didn't state it was for the mk3, people would assume it is compatible with all models of Isio so this is why we have to make that clear. Anyway, I will add the Bosch part number to our main description and this will hopefully help to prevent any further confusion.
Q : I bought my shears and telescopic handle last summer. Now my shears work okay but not through the handle...after one seasons use ? Not happy ! What do I do ? I'm reluctant to buy a new handle after minimal use.??
A : Hi Linda, if you bought them last summer you hopefully won't have to buy another handle as these are supplied from Bosch with a one year manufacturers warranty. If they are still within their warranty period I'd suggest contacting the retailer to see if you can get them repaired or replaced.
Q : I have an Isio hand held machine and would like to put a handle on it. The only handles I can find seem to be for an Isio 111...!! Would one of these fit my machine..? Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks in advance.. Patricia LIghtning
A : Hi Patricia, I'm afraid it's a bit hard to say for sure as I don't know what generation of Isio you have. As far as I'm aware this handle will only fit the Isio III, and is the only one that is currently available from Bosch. It should be fairly easy to check if you have an Isio III as it is still available and we stock it on product ID 21003811. If your machine looks different to this I think you must have a first or second generation model.
Q : I have a Bosch Isis 3 600 h33 100 which looks similar to the pictures. Does this handle fit that model?
A : Hi Martin, I believe that model is one of the ISIO III variants yes - as long as it looks the same as the one we have listed on product ID 21003811 this handle will be compatible with it
Q : To be clear, does this handle fit with both the grass and the shrub shears? There seems to be a bit of confusion about this in the Bosch advertising.
A : Hi Brian, this handle is suitable for use with both the grass blades and the shrub blades, yes, and in fact you can see it being used for both applications in the images. However, it appears Bosch do make another handle for the Isio series (which we don't stock) which is ONLY suitable for grass trimming. This other model has a bent shaft design which affords a comfortable posture when trimming grass but wouldn't be very practical for overhead work :)
Q : Does the wheels come off to make the handle lighter to handle when cutting shrubs high up
A : Hi Patricia, yes the wheels can be removed as can be seen in the image of the tool being used at height
Q : On my tin etc it only says Isio not III is it the same, its a few yrs. old and I am getting older & would like the telescopic handle, Will it work on my old one ??? Thanks M.Drummond
A : Hi there, this handle is only compatible with the ISIO III, but the actual shears just say "Isio" on them like you say - you can check the product on our website to see if they are the same? It's on product ID 21003811, so if thats what your Isio model looks like then you will be good to go.
