There are three main types of leaf blowers – Petrol, corded electric and cordless electric. As a general rule, Petrol blowers offer the most power at the expense of being heavier and noisier and than their electric counterparts, and typically come at a higher price.
Electric blowers are much quieter and more suitable for residential areas, and are usually powered by either lithium ion battery packs, or mains electricity.
Corded variants are cheaper to manufacture as they don’t require batteries or chargers, though their obvious limitation is the length of cord they are attached to.
Cordless variants offer much more freedom, though the amount of time they can be used for is dependent on the charge in their batteries. Higher amp-hour (ah) batteries will offer the most runtime, while higher voltage machines will provide more power.
Leaf blowers can also be effective at clearing snow, dust and dirt; however please bear in mind they are not designed to shift piles of wet leaves and much better results can be obtained by waiting for these to dry out first.

Very good item for under £40 considering rival machines which are vastly more expensive - this is great for me blowing dust and wood shavings out of my bandsaw / planer and other workshop machinery - this is the only reason i bought it but have tried it outside blowing grass and leaves about after a good old seeing to of my front & back gardens with petrol brushcutter - no more grass cutting now til april thank god - not tried the vacuum feature at all as i just blow shavings out of my workshop into garden and burn them on fire etc - all in all recommended for under £45 with delivery and 10/10 for dpd couriers as well - delivery was timed within 1 hour of selected day and driver was bang on the money re; delivery time - don't know why all couriers can't be this good - good machine buy one - worx blower vac on tv is £80 and less powerful motor than this one and no you cant order a worx vac without the free loppers but they give them away free if you buy an £80 garden vac blower worth only around £50 - 10/10 for this one excellent

Seemed like a good product. however, on second use it sucked up a stone and this destroyed the plastic fan that drives both blower and vac. there is a parts helpline who were pleasant but so far unable to supply a new fan after a month now.
