Bosch ALR 900 Metal Tine Lawn Raker 320mm Rake 900w 240vOutstanding lawn raking performance is provided in two stages by the Bosch ALR 900. First, the lawn raker's high torque delivery, 900 watt Powerdrive motor drives a set of 10 durable stainless steel tines forcefully into the soil, efficiently removing moss & thatch. Next, Bosch's innovative Jet-Collect System utilises specially designed airflow inlets to channel the released plant matter into the ALR 900's capacious 50L collection box. The result? A healthy, well aerated lawn, free from left over debris. When it comes time to store the lawn raker, the collection box can be detached & reversed, & the handle folded downwards, reducing the length of the machine to only 40cm. This allows it to be fitted into even the tightest of niches.Features & Benefits:• Performance: the combination of the 900-watt Power drive motor and the innovative "Jet-Collect" System provides fast and clog free raking• Efficient: "Jet-Collect" System - the innovative drum with tines and airflow inlets - offers fast and complete collection of moss and thatch• Practical: large 50-litre collection box means less stopping and time to empty it. This will impede drainage and stop air reaching the grass.Moss builds up on damp or lawns in the shade and will again affect the grass in a similiar way.Lawn ScarifiersA Scarifier will help to remove moss & thatch but will also cut through the surface of the lawn. This has a number of benefits such as aerating the underlying soil & spliting the grass into lots of separate plants thus thickening the turf and encouraging a healthy lawn.Use a Scarifier once a year either in autumn or late spring when the grass is growing well.Lawn RakersA Lawn Raker will remove moss, thatch & leaves. This will help to keep a nice tidy lawn whilst encouraging growth as old dead material is removed which would otherwise stifle this growth.Use a Lawn Raker every 1 - 2 months while grass is growing well.

Have only used this twice but for quite a long period on a very bad moss filled lawn. Extracted 7 very large garden bags of debris. Started on the second highest setting then used the second lowest setting. Has done exactly what i bought it for. Excellent price and service from tooled-up - arrived the day after ordering as expected.

It appears to be ok but a tad too early to comment.

I have a large moss ridden garden, and wish i had bought this lawn raker years ago. the main feature for me is the gathering box, i used to spend a huge amount of time gathering up after using my old scarifier - which is a toy by comparison.

A first class piece of kit. Really powerful and does the job well. The box holds a lot of moss etc.
having tried to do with a competitors machine for many years i realise now i should have made the change years ago. My lawn is over half an acre and this machine copes with it well. If folds neatly and is easy to store.Highly recommended.

I like this lawn raker very much, it has a much bigger box than my last one and it is also lighter to use.All in all very happy with my purchase!!

I chose the bosch even though there were cheaper makes available, as i have a number of bosch tools. this one didn't disappoint. usual build quality; easy to assemble - but using pictorial instructions; just as easy to use.
only used once so no mark for reliability - don't think this will be an issue with bosch. mine came with a free set of replacement tines (supplied by tooled-up) which were inside the box, necessitating the bosch seals being broken. at first i thought the product had already been used. not so, but something for tooled-up to be aware of.
very satisfied with whole transaction from tooled-up.

Having previously had a 'cheap' lawn raker that broke beyond repair, i decided to invest in a bosch. the difference in build quality is immediately noticeable. the bosch feels much more robust.
performance at removing moss is excellent. my front lawn is predominantly in the shade and was very thick with moss. On its lowest setting the rake is quite aggressive. i gave the lawn 4 rakings around a week apart. each time i removed far more moss than i ever had grass cuttings! the lawn now looks far healthier than it ever has.
you do have to be careful not to 'turn' the raker with the tines in contact with the lawn, otherwise it shaves the top. just push it in a straight line and lift the tines to turn.
my previous 'cheap' raker never threw the raked grass into the collection bag porpoerly and needed to be pushed in every few metres. this bosch throws the raked grass right into the back of the box meaning you can keep raking until the box is virtually full.
another nice feature is the collection box that easily separates into two halves and fit in each other, saving a lot of storage space.
i can recommend this lawn raker, it does an excellent job at raking, is well built and has some good design features

An excellent investment. Lawn rakers may not get much use, but after one session, my lawn has been transformed.
the bosch alr 900 was easy and efficient to use and folds away neatly for storage - and all at a fair price.
i would thoroughly recommend this tool.

Used the lawn raker several times, did the job perfect as i would expect from a quality manufacturer. It collected the moss without clogging, up and compacted it well, easy to use and empty and folds away for easy storage. The free tine set was a bonus which i have not needed as yet.Good value and fast delivery.

I chose this model having read the previous favourable reviews. Delivery was less than 48 hours - excellent.
i have now used the machine 3/4 times and have found it to perform very well. unlike my previous qualcast model which required emptying every 20 yards, the alr 900 really packs away a substantial amount of moss and grass thatch. The compact foldaway of the machine is very useful in a crowded shed.

I previously had a cheap lawn raker, which was a nightmare to use. you had to stop about every 2m to push the moss into the bag. it also broke very soon after the guarantee ran out. the bosch alr900 is a much superior machine. the collecting box is filled up before you need to empty it and it really does get the moss of the lawn. i must have collected 8 boxes off my front lawn and i think there is more to come. overall an excellent machine and much better value than the cheaper ones.

First class piece of equipment. Delivered as promised.

My rear and front lawns are consumed by moss. We have only done the rear garden so far which is approx 30m x 30m. We got 6 large garden bags of moss. Very powerful suction, used setting 2 and it sucked it all up very easily, storage container compacts debris well and easy to empty out. Also got a spare pack of tines plus the 2 spare that came with the lawn raker which was a bonus. Would recommend to others. We also own a bosch rotak 43cm lawnmower, the plastic on the lawnmower, this seems a better and sturdier quality in relation to the plastic collection box to the lawn raker but don't let this retract from making a purchase 8/10 so far.

It does exactly what it says on the box
i was initally nervous about buying shuch a low powered machine, but it has performed very well and more importantly, effortlessly.

From order via internet to delivery was very quick and painless. The delivery was excellent, and the package arrived within 30 minutes of your estimate. Thank you for a very efficient service. The rake itself works well, and has done a very good job so far. Thanks for an excellent service.

My husband has been well satisfied with bosch products we have bought before, so we are hoping that this purchase will prove equally reliable. although it has had limited use to date, so far it has lived up to our expectations.
