I bought this for a mate that is rebuilding a mk1 golf. We have both been using it and think its excellant, although its not really cut out for all day, every day. Even though this welder is more diy, due to the features, we have put it through its paces and it continues to go on and on.

This was my first attempt at diy welding. I do not like the usual arc welders, so decided on this model. After reading a few hints & tips, and of course youtube, i was able to weld some brackets i had made. The unit is simple to operate, current is either high or low, and set the wire speed. It may not have as many features required by the more professional among you, but for a novice diy, i am more than happy with this welder, and of course, the service from tooled-up.
