Fiskars XXL X27 Log Splitting Axe

The largest splitting axe in the Fiskars X Series, the heavy duty X27 has an extra long shaft to generate swing forces capable of splitting extra large logs with 30cm+ diameters.

The X27 will generally find best use as an additional tool to more standard sized (and less physically demanding) splitting axes such as the X21 and X25, though taller users may find that it's increased length makes it suitable as a main axe. Featuring a lightweight Fibercomp handle, the X27 has been weight balance optimised and is equipped with a 3D structured grip and hooked shaft end for an extra secure hold. These features enable fast and accurate strikes for optimum splitting force without compromising user safety.

With an anti-shock design for user comfort, the weatherproof Fibercomp shaft is also extremely durable and virtually unbreakable under normal conditions. The X27 comes with a 25 year guarantee (registration required) along with a plastic sheath which protects blade and user during transport or storage.
