Badaptor: The Power Tool Battery Adaptor
Badaptor Range Opens Up Thousands Of Possibilities
Have you ever wondered; can I use my DeWalt battery with my Makita power tool? Well, now you can.
The Badaptor power tool battery adaptor provides an ideal solution to all power tool users at every level. Badaptor offer a range of products that allow you to convert your current 18v battery to work with other market-leading brands which eliminates the need to buy additional battery systems and can save you money.
Benefits of owning a 18v battery adaptor
Save time and money, increase flexibility, and reduce waste.
Save time and money
Purchase a battery adaptor, at a fraction of the price of a new battery and save on batteries in the future. Buy the right power tool for the job, regardless of the brand. When a battery runs out there is no need to wait for it to charge up again, simply put the adaptor on along with a different battery that is also compatible from another tool and you’re good to go once again.
Increased flexibility
The Badaptor allows you to use your existing batteries with a wider range of tools, making it very helpful if you have a mix of different brands.
This range of battery adaptors gives you more tool choices and means you are no longer forced into buying the same brand of power tool, despite the amount of use it will get, because of the batteries you already have at home. Now you can consider consider factors like value for money and choose from a much wider range of options.
For example: Makita users can use their existing 18v LXT batteries with the entire range of over 200 Ryobi One+ tools. Or maybe you have DeWalt, Milwaukee, Bosch Professional, Ridgid, AEG or Metabo CAS 18v batteries? Well, with the appropriate Badaptor you’ll be able to use any of these batteries with the Ryobi One+ range as well.
Eco-friendly
Lithium batteries can be damaging to the environment as mining it is a water intensive process and during the mining, metals such as cobalt can cause pollution. Also, unfortunately the current recycling rate for lithium batteries is still low. So, being able to use fewer batteries for multiple tools is not only handy but also helps the planet become a greener place by reducing the number of batteries that end up in landfill. It is worth noting that when you do need to dispose of your lithium batteries that you should do so at your local hazardous waste disposal facility.
Reliable and easy to use
The simple and effective clip mechanism allows for quick and easy attachment and removal of the battery adaptor. The clip has a small and lightweight design so it doesn’t get in the way of getting the job done, and since most compatible batteries are for professional grade power tools, Badaptor have made sure the build quality is robust enough to withstand use in working conditions. All Badaptors come with a 12 month warranty against faulty manufacture.

I have recently purchased a range of Einhell power X change tools from your company, will the Badapter allow me to use a different manufacturers battery.
There are currently no Badaptor products available which are compatible with the Einhell range – however, the Einhell Power X Change system also works with Power X Change batteries from Ozito
Can you get a Panasonic battery to go into a Makita?
I’m afraid Badaptor don’t currently offer any adaptors that will do this
Great idea – but “Universal”? I think not. You list 13 different combinations. If each variant costs £25 that’s over £300. I can buy plenty of batteries with that.
What exactly do you mean by Universal??
You’re right in that “universal” is not the correct term.. now amended to “versatile”
Good morning, will you be making adapter for Ryobi battery to the wall tool?
Thank you
Hi Billy, I’m afraid I’m not entirely sure what you mean – a battery to mains plug adaptor? however please note we don’t actually make these ourselves, so I suppose the correct answer to your question is “no”. You could always try contacting Badaptor for more information though?
Awesome
Looks great
I’m not trolling, and it would be free/ good pr, but, in theory, could a internet influencer link a A battery to an A-B adapter, to a B-C adapter, to a C-D adapter, to a D-E adapter, to an E-A adapter, to an A brand tool?
Good idea!! Do u have an adaptor for Milwaukee 12v to Milwaukee 18 v ?
All of the current Badaotor range is for 18v (or 20v) systems, and I’m not aware of anything that will convert 18v to 12v at the present time
Great if you like to add 3 inches to your compact tool
I am surprised you don’t offer an adapter for Erbauer 18 v Li Lon batteries as these power tools are sold to both trade and DIY. The brand owned by Kingfisher Group is available all over the UK in both stores and online through Screwfix and B & Q. Therefore the sales and demand surely would create a demand for a specific Erbauer adapter?
I think that is a question for Badaptor themselves – we don’t make them, we only sell them 🙂
