A Jab Saws also goes by a variety of other names, including Plasterboard Saws, Plasterers Saws, Drywall Saws and Wallboard Saws. Its defining feature is a sharpened point which enables it to puncture material (usually plasterboard) and cut into it with its aggressive rasping teeth. As well as plasterboard, jab saws may be suitable for cutting other materials, including other types of wall panel, wood, chipboard and masonite.
