This item was an excellent price from Tooled-Up the cheapest I found.The pump was well made like all Karcher products It Was well packed and fast delivery.

Purchased for pumping rainwater collected in a pair of IBC's and we are not disappointed, pressure is much higher than mains water so no problems with the long hose needed to get water where it's wanted. The internal filter is also of a good size and isnt really mentioned in the details, remote has a good range too !

Really powerful motor. We use it from our 800lt rain butt and its as powerful as the mains if not more. Remote is great as well, very useful

I am a keen gardener and i bought this pump to draw water up from the many 45 gal water butts which i have. One irritating feature was that the input hose is flexible but the spring inside it keeps the hose curled up quite tightly and when it is pushed into the butt the bottom of the hose tends to push up and does not stay low. I solved this by cable tying the hose to a spare broom handle with the bottom of the hose about 4"up from the bottom to keep it clear of the sediment in the butt. It is a very useful item and i would thoroughly recommend it. The remote control is extremely useful.

This pump with its accessories isn't fit for purpose as supplied. That's because the suction pipe must be filled with water before the pump will work. (the handbook doesn't mention this.) if the pump is placed below the level of the water source as in the case of most water butts, then the pump will work ok. If the water source e.G. A pond, is below the pump, then water will simply flow out of the pipe as you attempt to fill it from the pump end. As there is no appropriate one-way valve supplied for the source-end of the suction pipe, you are well and truly stuffed if the water source is below or level with the pump. an appropriate valve is available from the manufacturer but should really have been included in the kit.
